| CNRP Vs CPP |
Today, at 13:50, the CNRP reached a comprehensive political agreement with the CPP with the following main points:
- Release of all CNRP-affiliated detainees recently arrested.
- Establishment of a new constitutionally mandated election commission made up of 9 members: 4 from the CPP, 4 from the CNRP, 1 by consensus between the two parties.
- The dates of future elections have not been fixed yet.
- At the National Assembly the CNRP will get the chairmanship of 5 commissions out of 10.
